Flag of Chile

Flag of Chile

The Chilean flag consists of two horizontal bands: a white one on the top and a red one on the bottom. On the hoist side of the white band, there's a blue square with a white five-pointed star in the center. The blue symbolizes the sky and the Pacific Ocean, white stands for the snow-covered Andes, and red signifies the blood spilled for freedom.
