Uzbekistan's flag features three horizontal blue, white, and green bands separated by two thin red stripes. On the blue band, near the hoist side, are a white crescent and twelve white stars. The blue represents the Turkic heritage, white for peace, green for Islam, and the stars signify the months and constellations.
