The flag of Sint Maarten features two horizontal bands of red (top) and blue with a white triangle based on the hoist that contains the coat of arms—a shield with a rising sun, a palm tree, and orange-yellow sage (the national flower). The red, white, and blue colors reflect the Dutch flag.
