The Omani flag is tricolor with three horizontal stripes: white on the top, red in the middle, and green at the bottom. There's a vertical red stripe on the hoist side with the national emblem. The colors represent the reigning Al Said family, the Imamate tradition, and the Jabal al Akhdar region, respectively.
